WEEK 1…..survived

I set up my tent and pack and unpack my staff, 9 times so far. Which is not that easy especialy when raining. I discovered I have lots off stuff I do not need and some I should have. I managed to cook myself some meals on my petrol stove which were crap, but that was Tortellinis fault, I boiled the water beautifully. I miss my people but absolutely love being on the road and being free to do as I please 24/ 7. It took me 58 years to get here but now I had a sniff of it I’ll keep on sniffing. I also managed to sleep last 2 nights for 5 hours in one go. Before I woke up 20 times every night being uncomfortable. It looks that body now gave up and realized that I’m serious with this camping shit. Huso did not miss a bit so far apart from small/ persistent leak on front tyres that I repump once daily and we are good for the rest of the day.

As you probably know Dolomites are fab, but with all the gadgets that I’m using and constantly tweaking as they are not doing what they are supposed to do it is rather easy to overcook the corner snd there is a lot of them, and end up 300m lower in several bits.

About editing, I hope somebody could just pour the knowledge inside me so I can do it better and sort of develop my style at the moment it is quite a struggle with tons of things I now see I did wrong or could do better. But stay with me and see the Editor extraordinaire emerge.

All in all I’m a happy bunny and will carry on going NORTH.
